This article talks about the things women face as being a writer. The author gave real life examples of what she experienced about being a female writer. She talked about how people expectations are different, gender wise. Pretty much how men are masculine and women are feminine.

She talked about the piece that she wrote called Angel of the House in which this discussed how women were supposed to be so unadulterated and humble. However, a lot of women are not like this even though we have some that are. Also she discussed how women have to be careful in what say when they are writing so it’s like they have to express themselves in different ways or wording their statements differently.

I think this article is very similar to the stereotypes that people have against women in politics and a woman trying to become president. Women face a lot of factors in fields like this. Only the st4ong survive.
