This paper was summarizing the game of basketball up. It talked about the history of basketball and how the sport became the sport that it is today and how it changed overtime. It talked about how the originally game didn’t have referees and how it started off at the YMCA center. It discussed some things that the author had an issue with about the game.

This paper discussed how basketball became popular in schools, mainly colleges for women and men. In the first paragraph or so the writer was telling us about the man who created the game when he had some boys for gym class. I bet he never thought that the game would be as popular as it is now. It seems as if the majority of our entertainment comes from watching college basketball and the NBA.

I liked this article because I liked learning about the history of sports, especially basketball. I love how basketball influences a lot of young people. For a lot of people basketball is a way to peace and have the mind clear of a lot of challenges.
