To sum it up, this article is basically talking about how people see the same thing however, they get a different interpretation about it. In this case it’s talking about races and cultures and how we view them differently. Specifically the words we use, and I think that this comes from the translations because when we translate something from Spanish to English, its worded different. An English person might Spanish is backwards as to where a Spanish person might say English is backwards.
The article talked about how blue and green come off to have different meanings in the English language. For instance, I could say someone was feeling blue which means they are feeling sad. To a person who does not understand English well would probably wonder why someone would be feeling like a color. The article also said how Americans main focus is to get things done, the thoughts of Americans exist in an external world and not inside of the mind.
My feelings towards this article is neutral. I’m neutral because I don’t like how they categorized all the races as one. What if all people of the same race didn’t think alike? Then what, we have false evidence. Then when I thought about the “Majority Rules” quote I figured out that the majority of the race must interpret things that why.
